Writing.com
It’s better than anything else I've used for my writing. My post on Bear yesterday was about me leaving Substack because I wasn't getting any traction with my writing. Same for here on Bear, sadly. No one seems to want to read short stories or poetry on Bear, Substack, or Wattpad.
But Writing.com is a part of the small web, so that's a major bonus. It's also been around since 1997, and it's made for writers. After just one post yesterday, I've had five people reach out to me and send reviews that are a paragraph long. That would never happen here or anywhere else. So far, it's the community I was looking for.
